Our Lanzarote Finca
This is a beautiful, quiet and relaxing, authentically restored Finca, or farmhouse, which shares the site of an old farmstead in the countryside on the south side of the island. At the heart of the house is the pool, where the terrace area and pergola provide total privacy and great shelter from the Lanzarote sun and wind. A separate walled pergola in the front garden, with views across the top of the property and out to sea is another great space to relax. This house is perfect for either a romantic break or for a family holiday.
The bedrooms are cosy, buffered by the 2-3 feet thick old walls. The living area is more contemporary, with an open plan, light feel to it. The kitchen is large, modern and well equipped.
There is a large gas Weber BBQ outside, with the teak hexagonal table under the main pergola making for perfect al fresco dining. The marina at Puerto Calero is only five minutes drive away. The sunbathing beaches on the south side of the island ten minutes drive. The surfing beaches on the north side half an hour. The stunning Timanfaya national park starts on the hill, at the base of which the house sits.
